2026 Summer camp registration is open!

For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching right here in our community. I’ve watched our neighborhoods grow, I’ve seen educational trends come and go, but one thing has remained constant: children thrive when they are known, loved, and challenged by educators who truly care.
I started Harvest Learning Academy because I believe Duluth, Johns Creek, and Suwanee parents deserve a choice. You deserve a school that combines the professional rigor of a top-tier academy with the warmth and flexibility of "teacher-led community"—where decisions are made with a heart for education and a personal dedication to loving each child as an individual.
Unlike many franchise schools around, I don’t answer to a corporate headquarter; I answer to you, the parents, and to the children in my care.
This isn’t just a business; it’s my life’s work.
Welcome home.
Founder & Lead Educator
We're not just another school. We're a teacher-led community where your child's individual growth and happiness come first.

Your child shouldn’t have to compete for attention in a sea of students. We know every student’s name, their favorite dinosaur, and exactly what makes them giggle. We keep our circle small so your child feels big.

Every decision we make—from the snacks we buy to the books we read—is based on what is best for your child, not what saves the most money. When you are a teacher-owned school, pedagogy always comes before profit.

Your child isn't a statistic, and their education shouldn't be generic. We use a unique, homegrown curriculum aligned with specific state-aligned GELDS standards that I developed personally to fit the specific needs of children in this area. It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom to adapt to your child’s interests and the proven structure they need to succeed in our local school system.

We believe childhood should be messy. While others stay inside, we put on our boots. We believe fresh air, dirt, and sunshine are just as important as ABCs. We grow resilience by letting kids explore the world, not just look at it.
